2 minors among 8 arrested in Bengaluru businessman's murder
Cops earlier arrested Mohan Babu, who thought Gopal had performed black magic to sabotage his business.

Eight people,
including two minors, have been detained in connection with the kidnapping and
murder of real estate businessman Gopal alias Gopi on City’s outskirts, police
announced. Gopal, in his late 30s and from Honnakalasapura village in Anekal
taluk, was involved in real estate and financial activities.
Police previously
arrested Mohan Babu, believed to be the main conspirator, who thought Gopal had
performed black magic to sabotage his business. "We have nabbed eight
people in connection with the kidnapping and murder of Gopal from their hideout
in Krishnagiri (Tamil Nadu). Among them, two are minors.
Efforts are being
made to nab other accomplices," a senior officer said. Gopal and his
friend Satish were travelling from Attibele when their car was stopped by
assailants near Karpur Gate, who rammed the vehicle and kidnapped Gopal after
spraying a substance on him.
Satish managed to alert Gopal’s family, who contacted police. The case is under investigation by the CID. Gopal’s body was found in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
